Introduction

Pizza Grilled Cheese

This recipe is so delicious! My husband and I love pizza and grilled cheese, so why not combine the two?! You will NOT be disappointed by this meal!

Ingredients

  • 2 chicken breasts
  • 3 Tbsp chicken bouillon
  • 1 pkg Sourdough bread
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1 pkg provolone cheese slices
  • 1 Tbsp grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 Tbsp garlic salt
  • 1 Tbsp butter

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Cook chicken (I take frozen chicken breasts and cook it in the Crockpot on LOW for 8 hours) and sprinkle chicken bouillon on top.

Step 2

After chicken is done cooking, shred or cut into slices (depending on preference).

Step 3

Take 2 slices of sourdough bread and spread marinara sauce on each slice. Place provolone cheese slices on bread, place chicken on top, and place the other slice of bread on top of the other to complete the sandwich. 

Step 4

Spread butter on top of the sandwich and top with parmesan and garlic salt. 

Step 5

Heat a pan on Medium heat on stove and place sandwich on top to cook until cheese begins to melt. 


Step 6

Spread butter on top of the other side of the sandwich and top again with parmesan and garlic salt. Then flip sandwich on pan and let it cook until cheese is fully melted or until bread has reached desired browness.
