Green Chile Pork (Instant Pot Recipe)
This recipe has become a family favorite! We make it ALL the time! It is so good in burritos, on nachos, over rice, with potatoes and veggies, or even just plain! It’s just THAT good! And not to mention it’s super quick and easy to make! Check it out below!
- 1 lb pork loin, thawed & cut into halves
- 1 Tbsp cumin
- 1/2 Tbsp oregano
- 1 Tbsp salt
- 1 Tbsp garlic powder
- 1 Tbsp chicken bouillon
- 1 (16 oz) jar salsa verde
- 3 cups water
Step by Step Instructions
Place pork loin into instant pot. Pour in cumin, oregano, salt, garlic powder, chicken bouillon, salsa verde, and water over pork loin.
Turn pork loin over to get completely covered in spices and liquid.
Close instant pot and set to “Meat” for 90 minutes. (See picture above for reference)
Once 90 minutes is up, you can use slow release or manual release to let the instant pot pressure out.
