Copycat Applebee’s Oriental Chicken Salad

My husband is in LOVE with this recipe! It’s super easy to make and very delicious! It may not be the healthiest BUT it’s a good one!

Ingredients for Salad:

  • 5 breaded chicken patties
  • 3 heads romaine lettuce
  • 1 carrot, shredded
  • 1 cup chow mein noodles
  • 1/3 cup almond slices

Ingredients for Dressing:

  • 5 Tbsp honey
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 3 Tbsp rice wine vinegar
  • 2-3 tsp grey dijon poupon mustard

Step by Step Instructions

Step 1

Cook chicken patties according to package directions.

Step 2

Make salad dressing by placing all ingredients in a blender and blend until fully mixed. Place in fridge while putting together salad.

Step 3

Rinse romaine lettuce and tear into pieces and place into bowl.

Rinse carrot and peel into bowl.


Step 4

Place chow mein noodles and almond slices into bowl.

Step 5

Once chicken patties are fully cooked, let cool on pan. Once cooled, cut into small pieces and place into salad bowl.

Place salad dressing over salad and mix.
