These are a super simple dinner to make if you have some leftover chicken! Few ingredients, but a yummy turnout! My mom made these once when we were kids and we begged her to make them all the time afterwards and hardly ever got them again and now I understand why! A hot oven in Arizona heat? And not to mention, they’re very unhealthy (but incredibly delicious) and you have to make quite a bit to feed a big family, which we had!
But still a great dinner! Especially for a married couple in need of something cheap and easy!
- 3 chicken breasts
- 3 Tbsp chicken bouillon
- 1 (8 oz) pkg cream cheese
- 3 stalks celery, chopped into pieces (more or less depending on preference)
- 1 pkg crescents
- 1 cup butter, melted
- 1 cup panko bread crumbs
Step by Step Instructions
Cook chicken either in oven at 450 for 20 minutes or in Crock Pot on LOW for 8 hours and sprinkle chicken bouillon over top.
Once chicken is cooked, shred. Mix in cream cheese and celery pieces.
Place spoonful of mix onto crescent dough and wrap up to cover mix.
Once finished, space packets evenly on metal cookie sheet.
Cook chicken packets according to crescent package directions.
